Unenroll Your Devices

Open Software Update in System Settings

Launch System Settings, and select General and choose Software Update.

Turn off beta updates

For Mac computers running macOS Ventura 13.4 or later:

To stop receiving betas, click the “Info” button next to “Beta updates” and then choose “Off”.

For Mac computers running macOS Ventura 13.3 or earlier:

To stop receiving betas, click the “Details…” button next to “This Mac is enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program.” A dialog will appear asking if you would like to restore your default update settings. Choose “Restore Defaults”.

Install the next version of macOS

When the next commercial version of macOS is released, you can install it from Software Update.

Turn off beta updates

For devices running iOS 16.4 or later:

To stop receiving betas, go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and tap “Off” from the list of options.

For devices running iOS 16.3 or earlier:

Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and tap the iOS & iPadOS Beta Software Profile that appears.

Tap Remove Profile. If asked, enter your device passcode, then tap Remove. Once the profile is deleted, your device will no longer receive iOS betas.

Install the next version of iOS

When the next commercial version of iOS is released, you can install it from Software Update.

To stop receiving betas, go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and tap “Off” from the list of options.

For devices running iPadOS 16.3 or earlier:

Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and tap the iOS & iPadOS Beta Software Profile that appears.

Tap Remove Profile. If asked, enter your device passcode, then tap Remove. Once the profile is deleted, your device will no longer receive iPadOS betas.

When the next commercial version of iPadOS is released, you can install it from Software Update.

To stop receiving the tvOS betas, go to Settings > System > Software Update > and turn off Get Beta Updates.

Install the next version of tvOS

Once your setting has changed, your Apple TV will no longer receive tvOS betas. When the next commercial version of tvOS is released, it will automatically install if you have Automatic Updates turned on. Or, you can install it from Settings > System > Software Update > Update Software.

Turn off beta updates

To stop receiving the watchOS betas, go to the Apple Watch app on your paired iPhone, tap the My Watch tab, then go to General > Software Update > Beta updates, and tap “Off” from the list of options.

Install the next version of watchOS

When the next commercial version of watchOS is released, it will automatically install if you have Automatic Software Update turned on. Or, you can manually check for updates by going to the Apple Watch app on your paired iPhone, tapping the My Watch tab, then going to General > Software Update.

Launch Home app

To stop receiving HomePod betas, go to the Home app > Home Settings > Software Update > Beta Updates and unenroll the HomePod mini or HomePod (2nd generation) you no longer want on the Beta program.

Install the next version of HomePod software

Once your setting has changed, your HomePod mini or HomePod (2nd generation) will no longer receive HomePod software. When the next version of HomePod software is released, it will automatically install if you have Automatic Updates turned on. Or, you can install it from Home app > Home Settings > Software Update > Update Software.
